PlainEdit
PlainEdit is a text editor for ANSI and ASCII files. Syntax highlighting is supported for the most common Web, script and programming languages. Many functions for text conversion, formatting, decoding and encoding are included.
The most important features are:

- Simple switching between ANSI (Windows) or ASCII (DOS) editing mode

PlainEdit runs in multi user environments as well on USB sticks.
Notice: PlainEdit doesn't support Unicode characters nor Unicode files. To edit Unicode files you can use the royalty free application
PlainEdit.NET.

Some features of this application are available in the professional version only. A professional license is offered to selected translators and other persons that supported this application. If you have questions about the professional license please feel free to contact me per e-mail.
Features of the professional version:
- Re-open files: Multiple recently opened files can be opened at the same time.
- Search and replace text in not currently opened files.
- Sessions: The current session (with opened files, selection and cursor position) can be saved and resotred.
- Copy formatted text: Text can be copied as "HTML document", "HTML fragment" (without the HTML header) and as Rich-Text (RTF).
